Week 1

Here it is the end of week 1, I know your asking well did you lose any weight? and the answer to that is no. I found the batteries for the Nintendo Wii were dead then our battery recharger choose to die on us (at least the power cord part of it).

Then Thursday (4th November) I had to go see my Dr (on a side note did I tell you his a complete hottie, very nice eye candy) and he took my blood pressure finding that it was higher the normal so he ordered me to take two 5mg Norvasc tablets and my 1 avopro tablet still.

He also told me till Monday to take it easy as I might have some side effects going from 5mg Norvasc to 10mg Norvasc, now you know why there hasn't been any real exercise going on this week to lose weight.

Sunday morning (today) I did go for a walk with my husband down to our local Coles supermarket to get the Sunday Newspaper and a few other little things, then we walked home again. I think the local Coles Supermarket is about 100 to 200 meters away so 200 to 400 meters round trip which in my books counts for a little exercise.

This afternoon or early tonight if I'm feeling alright I'll will try to attempt some exercise on the Nintendo Wii Fitness Board otherwise I will start on Monday like my Dr wanted me to.

Today is the day.

Today is the day I start trying to misplace my extra kilos I carry around never to find them again hopefully. I've been to my lovely Dr who measured and weighed me and said that I am 120 kilos and that for my height I need to be around the 55-65 kilo mark. Meaning I'm aiming to lose 60 kilos in under a year.

To start with my dr has referred me to a Dietitian meaing I'm now on a eight to twelve week waiting list. I've also signed up to a program ran by the Queensland Government Health Body. They aren't running new courses at the moment as it's getting close to Christmas but will be starting them in the new year. If you want to know more then go to Lighten Up

I'm going to start of with trying to lose 1 kilo a week by eating more healthy things plus smaller portions of things as the Dr said I can still have the wicked food as long as they are smaller portions then I've been having.

As for exercise I'm not ready to get out in public to do exercises (this means in a gym or just jogging along the footpath) so I'm going to pull out our Nintendo Wii Fitness board along with the Nintendo Wii Fitness Plus disk & do some exercise in the privacy of my own place.

You will see that on this blog I've got a Weight Lose Ticker (which was placed there by the lovely Toushka and inspired by the also lovely Diminishing Lucy ) so everyone who is following my progress can see how I am going. Today has got off to not a bad start but not a good start either so to make up fully for today I'm going to put in some extra work over the next six days.

I will try and post every Sunday to let you know how I'm getting on. Hope you will enjoy following me into the world of the missing kilos that can't be found.
